The BMW i Vision Dee combines digital and analogue into a complete whole. The vision vehicle brings virtual worlds into the car and opens up new levels of interaction. As soon as you settle in the driver’s seat, you enter a new world. This is achieved first and foremost by the BMW Mixed Reality Slider and the advanced BMW Head-Up-Display.
I have checked the driver's compartment fuses and they all seemed fine, and disconnected the battery for a while. Neither did anything. Tried moving the HUD and twisting the brightness knob, and cycling it through the different display options. Nothing. Just a black void where my tach and speed used to be.

This only started when I was in an accident and my car came to a complete standstill (like hitting a brick wall) after hitting a car that ran a red light.
