Feb 13, 2012. Oddometer: 138. Location: New Jersey. I'm looking at the 1200 GSA Low Suspension, thinking it would add to my confidence in certain situations. I've done a good bit of reading past threads and it sounds like the over-all consensus is that there is no noticeable difference in handling between the 2 suspension set-ups.

To clarify, a stock GSA rider seat is much taller than a "low" rider seat while the exact opposite is true of the pillion. My wife far prefers the seat from the "low" set to the stock GSA one. The GSA stocker must be thinner to keep the CG lower when you have a passenger. #8.
GS Standard seat has a low/hi setting (most run high on the front low on the rear to keep from being a nut squishier). In low this seat is about 1" higher than the low seat and set on the highest setting is about 2" higher. GSA seat has low/hi settings.
